Architectural and street photography of Paris, France; London, England; and Hamilton, Ontario, Canada
Often while visiting family in Paris, and also when we pop over to London to visit a good friend and colleague, I take the opportunity for some fun, personal image-making as we drive or walk around. I love the architectural differences between what we have here in North America and elsewhere in the world. I love the modern variety I see, particularly in London, but also the historic architecture and details as I wonder about all the people of the past, whether they be notable figures in history or everyday, regular folk, who also took in these sights as part of their typical, daily routines. While we’re on the street, I also enjoy capturing those daily routines of the people of today as they go about their business in this modern world.
